There is no age restriction for laser & electrolysis hair removal but the client must has the maturity to demonstrate that he/she understand the treatment process, what is expected of the procedure, preparation before each treatment session & aftercare.
The benefits & risks of laser & electrolysis hair removal are the same for younger people as they are for adults.
The main decision to do laser or electrolysis hair removal needs to come from the young clients themselves, not their parents or guardians. This must be something the young clients want for themselves and not because their parents want them to have it done.
However, for a client under the age of 18 years old, the presence of a legal guardian on the first consultation and written consent from a legal guardian are required. We will provide our form.
Because young clients still have to go through puberty & there are hormones that can affect hair growth, there is a super high possibility that there can be excessive hair growth even after successful hair removal. This means young clients who are still growing will require more sessions than the fully-grown adults on average.
Waxing, daily plucking & other epilation methods that pull/tear the hair out from skin should be avoided cause these temporary hair removal methods can increase the size of your hair, can cause ingrown hair, can irritate skin & etc.

Why age is important to Laser (or IPL) result? /////////////
It's
recommended that the client should have completely gone through
puberty before commencing laser hair removal, so that it allows
enough time for full pattern of hair growth to be completely
developed. That is around mid 20's for female and mid 30's for male.
Why
wait? Remember laser works efficaciously when hair is dark, dense, coarse and thick.
However, when a child wants to have treatments done earlier before turning puberty due to psychological stress from the hair, pilonidal cyst or sinus, ingrown hair, pseudofolliculitis barbae, sores and etc, they need to understand that results might not be long term and require more treatments sessions.

When
I turned puberty I had suffered with excessive hair problem in my
lower legs. It had caused me depression and I had lost my self-esteem
& confidence to go out and do things. I used to wax & pluck
it. Not only the hair problem got worse cause hair became coarser &

I attended online course in Anti-Aging & Integrative Medicine, Dhurakij Pundit University, Thailand taught by various top medical doctors from Thailand & around the world. Since electrology & light therapies, such as laser, can permanently remove hair only cosmetically, but the root cause is still there and modern medicine often overlooks the root causes, but can only manage disease symptoms. Most often, modern medicine focuses mainly on disease managements, but omits disease prevention. Ever
since I started offering LHR services I have never treated anyone more
than 6 sessions for their 2-yr initial course provided that clients are
good candidates for laser that their original hairs were starting with
dark, dense, coarse and thick hair with light skin colors. Majority of
my clients achieved more than 80-95% permanent hair reduction within only
4th session, but some of my clients may require upto 6th session in total.
I honestly have asked clients not to resume any LHR further if they have not received any further reductions from LHR treatments either because their hair colour, density and diameter are no longer good candidates for LHR, or their hair doesn't fall out within a week or two post treatment.

With a skilled therapist and low power machine, clients will observe good results for the first few treatment sessions and less on subsequent treatment sessions. Thereafter, the results will plateau as it is beyond the machine's capacity to be able to provide any further reductions.
As clients progress with subsequent LHR treatment sessions, their hair becomes finer and lighter and locates shallower, requiring shorter pulse widths and concentrated beams of higher fluence (energy) than does initial hair which is denser, thicker, coarser & darker. In order to achieve beyond 80% long-term/permanent hair reduction, ensure the power output of a LHR machine is higher than 2000 watts to ensure the machine can perform this.

Every
single unwanted hair from head to toes, hair of every colour and
every skin colour can be permanently removed. All unwanted hair can
also be removed where tattooed.
BODY
hairs should be permanently removed within 4 clearances (not
sessions), provided that each clearance are at least 3-4 months apart.
For
FACIAL hairs, it's probably require more than 4. Clearance of every
single FACIAL hairs per session should be avoided due to higher risk
of pitted scarring.
[Clearance
means removing of all the hairs present in the area at the time of
that treatment session. Session means appointment session.]
You
should never feel being plucked during the treatment.
We
offer marathon sessions. (For non-facial hair, you can book long
sessions for consecutive days. There is no limits or no restrictions

According to "Afterpay", you
must be over 18 years old and be the authorised holder of an eligible
debit/credit card to apply.

customer must download the Afterpay app [Android

and then present the barcode to us for payment processing immediately
after completion of each treatment session.

will charge you $10 'late fee', plus extra $7 if not paid for another

Diathermy
or Removal of Vascular Lesions, such as superficial red capillaries, telangiectasia, spider veins, thread veins, cherry angiomas, red moles & vascular blemish via Electrolysis
Electrolysis
is effective for Face,
Neck, Chest & décolletage as long as they are bright red
"thread" like, or small dots or "spiders".
Recurring
of the vascular lesions is highly possible especially in the legs, when
comparing to face, neck, chest & décolletage. This is due to
movement because we use our legs, but not the chest, to walk.
Electrolysis
doesn't work effectively to remove Purple Veins neither cause they are
deeper than red finer more superficial ones (arteries).

skin/temperature sensation, keloid scarring, history of skin cancer,
poor peripheral perfusion, during hormonal therapy or any other infectious diseases.

A certificate from your doctor is required before commencing
Electrolysis treatment when you have suffered from at least one of
the following health conditions: diabetes, high blood pressure,
epilepsy, moles in area to be treated, metal implants in body (eg
birth control IUD, metal staples in the chest, screws, pins or plates
to repair broken bones or etc.), haemophilia, pregnancy, trying to
conceive, during breastfeeding, on blood thinning medications or
recovering from a recent operation.

from your moles or pigment-producing skin cells to prove that you

Tattoos must be at least 6 months old before the electrolysis
treatment can begin on such area.
-- Avoid this treatment when your skin is still inflamed or sensitive, such as from current irritation/ inflammation &/or recently physical exfoliation, chemical peeling, laser treatments and etc.

medications when booking and before the treatment procedure. ***
BEFORE
COMING TO EACH APPOINTMENT: - Please DO NOT use numbing cream cause it makes capillaries disappear, thus we cannot treat you because we cannot see them.
- Please DO NOT take aspirin or
ibuprofen (such as Advil) at least 24 hrs before and after the
treatment. - Please DO NOT consume any coffee, caffeine or energy
drinks for at least 4 hrs before the treatment. This increases your
pain level. - Please wear loose clothing for area you wish to be
treated. Clothes made from natural fabric such as cotton or linen are
preferred. - Please have such skin area clean and free from
moisturiser, make-up, deodorant, perfume and etc. before starting the
treatment and at least 72 hrs after the treatment. - Please do not
wear any naked metals such as jewellery during the electrolysis
treatment. - No sunburn, tanning or artificial tanning in the area
you wish to be treated.
WHAT TO EXPECT: - There may be some swelling after treatment, but it
will be minimal and resolves quickly. - Some erythema (redness)
may be present and could last for a day or two.
AFTER
YOUR TREATMENT:

LEAVE THE TREATED AREA ALONE & DO AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE AFTER THE
TREATMENT. DO NOT stretch or move your skin from side to side &
up or down (please do not move your skin leave it alone!) in attempt
to see what has been done. ***

For at least 72 hrs following treatment, instead of DO NOT WASH,
please wash your face or other treated area SUPER gently by tapping &
NOT rubbing
***
Moving treated skin will greatly undermine the treatment.***This is to minimise recurring; blood is encouraged to flow back to the treated area every time it moves.
-
Do not exercise for at least 72 hrs after the treatment.
- Avoid excessive heat/sweating and anything that raises body temperature for first 72 hours after the procedure. Cold or Lukewarm showers are ok (& Avoid HOT baths/showers)
- To prevent infection, the treated area should not be exposed. No swimming, saunas, hot baths and contact sports until the treated area is healed. - Please
DO NOT scratch if scabs. Let them fall naturally. Interference of
scabs can lead to scarring/permanent mark.
- Avoid sources of friction and rubbing on treated area/site for 72 hours after the procedure. Please wear loose clothing. Do not wear tight/chafing cloths.
- Please
wear sunblock at all time. But at least 72 hrs after the treatment,
apply this carefully & DO NOT rub the area.
Mineral
or physical sunscreens (especially those containing zinc oxide as active ingredient) are better than those containing other chemicals or
organic compounds. The reason is that
mineral sunscreens act similarly to aluminum foil reflecting UV light,
blocking it from entering into our skin, whereas other sunscreens allow
light to absorb/enter/penetrate into our skin and we don't want this to
happen in the first place, right? Additionally, zinc is anti-inflammatory &
anti-microbial.
- About 72 hrs
after the treatment you can resume your regular routine.
- Before treating, each lesion must appear red and press on each lesion to ensure it refill with blood. If not, do not treat. Starting point is to treat each lesion from where it starts to refill with blood.
- Please ensure the end point is just disappearance of the treated red capillaries. Blanching or turning whitish of treated capillaries indicate overtreatment.
- No permanent scar when either one of epidermis or dermis injured. Permanent scar develops when at least both skin layers damaged.
For treating skin blemish, treat very superficial epidermis only. If any deeper involved, clients might develop permanent marks.
For hair removal, we destruct hair follicles in the dermis only; top epidermis layer must not be injured.
